Free Hugs

Free Hugs was taken on January 20, 2017 during Donald Trump's inauguration in Washington D.C. The photo was taken on the front lines during the protest to his presidency the night before the largest march in U.S. History, The Women's March. When I was notified that this image was going to be featured on a billboard in Columbus, OH, I searched for and met the man in the image - Ken Nwadike Jr. is a national peace activist and the founder of Free Hugs Project. In the photo, he is seen mediating between the police force and the people.
